Now that the President has the IrCP on the ropes, should he hit them with |

a plan that includes raising taxes on the rich and corporations and which offers no spending cuts?
If he did that, then the repubs will again be forced to make their stand with the rich and against soc sec and meidacare recipients.

Randi Rhodes had a 4 point solution yesterday that was brilliant. I'm thinking of subscribing to her podcast so I can post the transcript here. But essentially they were, let the Bush tax cuts expire, eliminate the loopholes that have $27 billion/annual companies paying ZERO tax, raise taxes to people making over ONE MILLION a year, and inheritance taxes (which I feel kind of iffy about). She presented the numbers and figures and it was astounding. She didn't even figure in the cost of the wars or the amazing $$$ going to defense!
