Why is there never an accountability crisis? |
|
Evidently everyone in D.C. is just fine with years of corruption being swept under the table. It's rather strange to watch as politicians are portrayed as good faith negotiators in the so called budget crisis. To use an analogy judges have to recuse themselves from cases in which they have a conflict of interest. If credible, good faith negotiation were truly a priority then pretty much everybody in D.C. would have to recuse themselves from partaking in the budget negotiation.
