If Congress doesn't raise the debt ceiling so they are forced to make cuts...
The first thing to be cut should be all pay for Congress.

They should be the first to suffer, not SS recipients that had nothing to do with it.

2. Cutting their pay won't make them suffer
Padlock all special facilities and amenities they have, don't restock their office supples, coffee, toilet paper, etc.

Jack up the "pain in the ass" factor for their daily routine, and you'll get more effect.

3. I agree. They are employed by us and as such it's time they are taken to task.
If my job performance, if I still had a job, were as poor as some of these people, I'd have been fired years ago. And I agree if you cut their pay, you cut their perks. They have no problem screwing with people's ability to just survive so, fuck them.
