Zbigniew Brzezensky was pretty funny today on Morning Joe.
Edited on Wed Jul-13-11 08:43 AM by CTyankee
He was mocking repubs talking about "raising taxes on job creators, job creators, job creators, job creators...." in a very mocking tone, with a wicked smile on his face...

I just loved it. I've never seen him do this kind of "comedy." I hope he does more of it...

You can probably catch his segment by going to the show's website on msnbc.com

P.S. I've kinda felt the love for him since he called Joe "stunningly superficial" a few years back when Joe was bloviating about something in the Middle East (which was also something he clearly knew nothing about). Joe was speechless for once...

1. msnBS is great for comedy and entertainment but if you want to know what's going on in the world,
and not have your intelligence insulted I'd suggest changing the channel.

4. Well, for years I tried GMA and just got tired of all the show biz hype and
the level of intelligence when biggies were "interviewed."

At least I can hear some people I admire on MJ. People like Howard Dean, Katrina VandenHeuval, Bob Herbert (who was on today), Nick Kristoff, and Dems I want to hear from. For the RW a'holes, I just use the mute button!

7. GMA is almost as bad, you're right. I wouldn't watch that either.

8. hey, that is cool! I've occasionally thought of getting more channels but
I only watch TV in the morning and 5 to 6 pm to check in with Tweety to see what the usual suspects are saying. Occasionally, you hit some gold mines on his show cuz he has some real characters on, some verifiable lunatics. Just for fun...

10. Well like I said. If you're looking for fun and entertainment, you've already hit the motherlode.
If you're looking to become informed with current events, such as what's going in the middleast and what's going on here at home (and I'm not talking about car chases and apartment fires), stories the big 3 aren't covering because they're busy airing sarah palin soundbytes and casey anthony gossip, then you'll need to look elsewhere.

Especially if you've only got an hour or less (that's more than enough time to get caught up) to watch per day. You can get fully caught up in about 10 minutes on another channel.

11. Excellent. There's a whole world of info out there, as I well know when I travel in
Europe. Getting out of our American TV ruts is a good thing...thanks for the heads up on this...

5. As I recall she laughed...or at least I thought it was her...could have been
Tina Brown who was also at the table and who had good insights on Rupert Murdoch and was arguing with Pat Buchanan (who was lovin' Rupert).

3. Did you ever notice that Mika dresses more conservatively
and wears less makeup when Daddy's on the show? It's true.

I have this mental image of Mika coming out into the room as a teenager, and her father saying, "You dress like a prostitute! Go and change your clothing!"

6. She was "little miss prep" today and I thought the same thing...
Tina Brown said "Oh, look at you in peppermint pink!." Mika was wearing a bright pink sweater and a vivid green shirt underneath it.

"You look like a whore. Go change."
