From the files of my own stupidity
What is "cake" and what are "bath salts"? I have an idea but not really sure about application.

Are they legal?

Are they harmful?

4. No. All I know is that it is some kind of pseudo-drug
mimics pot but has no illegal substance in it.

Bath Salt is a designer drug that acts like a stimulant. You can get info on it here.

Cake is a joke, started with this clip.

6. The "bath salts" thing has to do with labeling of some
new synthetic drugs to try to avoid legal problems. The packages are printed with "NOT FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION" in very large letters. These drugs are also sold as "Herbal Incense" for the same reason. There have been deaths associated with some of these products, which are sold in head shops and the like.

I'm not familiar with "cake."

8. Same with Kratom - however Kratom has saved many a junkie's life
Anyone going off any opiate should familiarize themselves with this "incense"

It hits the opioid receptors similar to codeine, but is a stimulant rather than a depressant, and it is almost impossible to OD. You just can't take too much of it or you'll puke. Also, stepping down off of Kratom has virtually no WDs. Of course, because of its low dosage, you have to step down off the stronger opiates before you can switch to Kratom.

The stuff is illegal in Thailand and Australia - why? I have no idea.
