Frame for debt limit behavior by Republicans

I think of the theatrics of the Republicans as being akin to the mindset of suicide bombers.

Suicide bombers are willing to risk the lives of their friends, families, and themselves to harm others just to make a point. Republicans are willing to cause at minimum a double-dip recession, probably another US Great Depression, along with tectonic shocks to economies worldwide, in order to prove a point.

Republicans are trying to suicide our economy to make a point.
