I have received multiple emails from several organizations about this. There is a toll free number for you to call your Senators and Congresspeople about the national budget and to tell them to keep their hands off of SS, Medicare, Medicaid, and other programs that help people.

The number is 1-888-907-1485

You will be given some some words on how to frame your message, asked if you want the House or the Senate, and then asked to enter your zip code. You will then have a choice of Senator's offices or go to your Rep's.

My 3 calls were answered on the first ring and was passed to the offices very quickly.

2. All ready called both NY Senators on my own yesterday

plus e-mailed Schumer today. The House rep for my district is an evil rat Puke tea partier, who said he favors the Ryan plan so I am not calling him. IMHO it would be tantamount to: :banghead: There is no way he would lift a finger to save SS and Medicare no matter how many people call him.

If he is like the past Puke who held that office they will just hang up the minute they catch on, your not in lock step with their own personal agenda.
