There is no question the media gives a disproportionate amount of time to the republican view verses |

the Democratic view.
The press sucks so badly in this country.
Even Bloomberg which is better in reporting than most, parades one right wing politican or analyst after another, compare to the other side

Republicans favor unlimited campaign spending which, coincidentally, serves the media's bottom line as much of it is spent on advertising.
Maybe some "journalists" get a "bonus" if (Murdoch's favorite) so-and-so wins their election race?
