US MUST investigate hacking. Why? Because the British Police and Govt. are full of Murdoch's minions |
|
As much as I have been enjoying seeing Rupert Murdoch turning in the wind I do not think that the British will be able to fully investigate this matter. Murdoch has been shaping British govt. since Thatcher. Everyone at the top of the govt. is there because Rupert Murdoch allowed them to stay. As much as they hate Rupert Murdoch, they are beholden to him. His newspapers have also been hacking their phones. Murdoch has been running the show because he knows everybody's secrets.
He still does.
The police are in worse shape. Murdoch has been paying them for story leads, to find story subjects, to ping where-abouts. Murdoch has had access to the police computers and records. Scotland Yard's investigators have been hiding and covering up News Corp's lawbreaking. The policeman in charge of the first investigation on Murdoch found nothing wrong, retired, and got a lucrative job writing a column for Murdoch. My guess is News Corp has paid off so many policemen that Scotland Yard would be gutted of employees if they were all to be investigated. There would be a possibility of a clean investigation if the dirty Murdoch cops weren't still running the show.
But they are.
News Corp has promised, again, to diligently investigate on their own. Rebekkah Brooks promises she will do a complete and thorough job of investigating herself to see if she did anything wrong. She'll even double check all her emails before she deletes them to make sure there is nothing of importance inside. By "diligently investigating" what News Corp means is they will take the time to hide, erase, shred and burn more evidence. Will they investigate?
They will not.
The US Dept. of Justice is the best hope for a complete and thorough investigation. News Corp has proved itself to be unethical. To think that they act any differently just because they are in the US is ridiculous.
Call your Senator today. :0)

1. And the US police and gov't aren't also full of Murdoch's minions? |
|
Murdoch operated with such bravado because he knows he's way above the law. Nothing of any major consequence will touch Murdoch, watch.

3. My thoughts exactly... This is a pattern Murdoch & his henchmen |
|
have conducted worldwide to spread their sphere of influence. He's the absolute definition of global corruption.

2. I have zero confidence in AG Eric Holder as well |
|
But you are correct about the Brits. I will need to see action to be convinced.

4. Rupert Murdoch will not spend minute ONE in prison. |
|
I've said it before and I'll say it again.
Bastards like him or Bewsh II or Cheney don't get their come-uppance. Ever. J. Edgar never did either. That shit got buildings named after him, as did Reagan.
The only people that get sent to jail and/or die violent deaths in this world are those that try to make it more peaceful and cohesive. The shitbags live until they keel over dead of extreme old age in their gold easy chair.

6. You can be sure the FBI office in London has been all over this |
|
from the start and likely helped break the case. And that several agencies are now vying for their piece of the investigative pie over here as we speak.

|
that Murdoch's media tentacles reach.
