to keep the teabaggers at bay throughout this whole endeavor? :shrugh: Or it may just be what it seems: Boehner's weak and Cantor is like a shark that smells blood in the water. Nobody will probably know until this whole farce is over.

just that he seems to be the de facto representative of the few remaining "sane" Republicans in the House that recognize the need to raise the debt ceiling while Cantor seems to have become the representative of the hard core Tea Party fascists in the House.

Until the polls go sour, which they're already doing. Then Cantor is on his own. Just him and his hair. What the fuck is it about Republicans and their hair, anyway?
