A Bastille Day Miracle: My wife just lost her job AND got offered a new job within minutes.

First she got offered a position within her company that she has been interviewing for... for two months.

Then just as she was going to call her boss and tell him, he called her to tell her that her current position would be ending by end of Summer.

anyway...

PHEW!

It's a great position that she is really excited about.

Just a hunch, but I bet they wanted to eliminate her current position but didn't do so because they valued her too much as an employee and when she applied for the new position helped them solve 2 problems simultaneously. I bet it wasn't just luck.
