Teabaggers to Giffords: "One way or another, you're gone."
http://www.nytimes.com/2011/01/09/us/politics/09scene.html?_r=1

“On a typical Saturday this corner is filled with Tea Party protesters,” said Brenda Tyler, who was with her husband, Lyndon. “I’ve seen signs saying things like ‘It’s time to reload’ and ‘One way or another, you’re gone.”‘ A real estate agency in the neighborhood had a sign out front that said “Goodbye Gabby” and showed the silhouette of a witch on a broom,” she said. It had been taken down on Saturday."

*****

This was a quote from one of the people at the vigil outside Congressman Gifford's office. The teabaggers are unapologetic about the hate rhetoric they have been spewing but it is clear they had targeted Giffords and were using language meant to incite violence.

1. people who hate themselves project that hate outwardly
too bad we don't have the resources for mandatory in-patient psychotherapy sessions for all of them.

3. It would be nice to know what real estate agency it was.

If they have a national affiliation, someone could lose their franchise for this sort of blatant disregard for loss of life. It's just ugly.

On edit: I tried googling it but the only agencies on N Swan would be too far from Giffords' office to be in the same block as hers at 1600 N. Swan.

10. Please, we have all seen the images on billboard, business fronts
and bumper stickers from coast to coast. Crawl out of the denial and realize that the mental disorders of mass conspiracy theorists are contagious.

12. Amazing, isn't it?
It's stunning to me that anyone could defend the teabaggers in all of this and yet they are out in force doing just that. So what if he was unstable? He lived in Tucson and probably saw the vitriol directed at Gabby from the teabaggers. It sounds like it was incessant and pervasive. With that kind of hate rhetoric being constantly spewed it was only a matter of time before some unstable person acted on it.

14. We need to have a talk with the second guy. Did he drive the shooter to the mall?
Its been thought of before. Find the deranged to do your bidding. The Terrorists game plan from the start has been the recruiting of young crazies for suicide missions.
