.. Anyone know how it is going? That district includes Green Bay and is in the Northeast section of the state?

New Child Abuse Allegations Render Candidacy Untenable

MADISON -- The Democratic Party of Wisconsin on Thursday called on Scott Walker and the Republican Party of Wisconsin to demand the immediate withdrawal of Dave VanderLeest as a candidate for the Senate after disturbing allegations of child abuse were published late Wednesday.

VanderLeest, who was deputized by Republicans to run the recall efforts against Sen. Dave Hansen, has a documented history of domestic abuse, but the new allegations appear to be part of an ongoing investigation by the Oconto County Sheriff's Department.

PolitiScoop, an advocacy website, published Wednesday an incident report in which a child tells investigators about being kicked and bruised by VanderLeest; and in which his former spouse details a pattern of abuse and drug use by VanderLeest.

2. I found this about VanderLeest...running against Hanson.

It says he doesn't pay his taxes.

"VanderLeest also indicated he did not want to discuss his legal and financial problems that have become the subject of multiple television ads from liberal groups. VanderLeest hasn’t paid property taxes in three years, pled no contest to two misdemeanor disorderly conduct charges related to allegations of domestic abuse and has a bankruptcy, home foreclosure and unpaid settlement from 2006."

3. This should be a lock. Vanderleest is a scumbag, and the word is out....

...however, Dem voters better show up. It'll take a good turnout to beat Vanderleest and Diebold.

After visiting Dave Hansen's Green Bay office and working too briefly on the phone bank, it seems to me that Dave Hansen could only lose if he were caught in bed with a dead Carol Kelso or a live Alan Lesee.......or if they hire Kathy Nicholas to count the votes.
