There is still time to add pressure not to cut Social Security & Medicare

Strengthen Social Security, a major coalition of groups including labor, disability, seniors groups, students groups, etc. is organizing a major Congress Call In Day Today to urge our reps not to cut SS & Medicare 1-800-998-0180 in the debt ceiling debate.

I know there is a lot of cynicism about the merits of being proactive around here, I tend to get discouraged too, but there is still evidence that a major public push back can put pressure on our elected leaders to do the right thing.

I hope everyone participates.
