Brothers killed mom because they didn't want to play Yahtzee, police say
Tamara Lee Mason wanted to play Yahtzee with her three sons after dinner on Christmas Day. They didn't want to play, and a fight over the game allegedly led one of the sons to strangle her that night.

According to the Minneapolis Star-Tribune, Mason's oldest son, 25-year-old Dylan C. Clemens told investigators on December 27 that his mother got mad and stormed out of the house after the fight and they didn't know where she went. But when her decomposing body was found in the backyard of her Alberta, Minnesota home last Thursday, police arrested Clemens' two half-brothers, Andrew Q. Cobb, 18, and Jacob S. Cobb, 17.

Criminal charges were filed Tuesday against Clemens and Mason's other two sons. Stevens County District Court documents say that the youngest, Jacob, strangled the boys' mother on the living room floor, and then he or Andrew put a plastic bag over her head and tightened a belt around her neck.

Next, police claim Clemens drove the body to South Dakota and then back to Minnesota where they hid her body for months in a garbage can in the shed. When the frozen ground softened, the brothers spent three days digging a hole in the backyard where they buried her remains.

1. Good lord. Yahtzee? Don't let them near the game of "Risk".
Strangled her at night?

The had to be some substance abuse that day, or some really deep emotional issues, wow...

8. Hey, I'm a Yahtzee addict!
I play quietly online on my computer in my office in my home - so I play with my fellow enthusiasts. I'll be careful not to ask the family to play with me.

12. The Ukraine is weak.
It's feeble. I think it's time to put the hurt on the Ukraine.

2. I can't believe that. There's something more to this story than 'being forced to play games'.

5. Alberta, Minnesota is truly in the middle of nowhere.
It is in that part of Minnesota that is commonly called "West Jesus."

7. That seems a little harsh.
We need a little family history here.

Were they all drunk or something?
