intransigent stance when it comes to the debt and keeping the government open... There is no principle or resolve as in a good thing.. there is principal and resolve to destroy the American government.. I will grant you that, but stop putting it forward as if they are somehow better than the rest of us peon citizenry with a "principled" stand.

2. You just have to articulate the right principle
If you're thinking "provide for the general welfare" or "public service," you're going to badly misread Republican actions. However, when you ascribe the principle of "Me first and fuck you," their actions are highly principled.
