Note to Pols on News Corp.... hope this explains to you
why the Progressive Era Politicos, MANY OF THEM REPUBLICANS, came up with that silly progressive piece of legislation called the Sherman Anti Trust Act. (Yes that was the baby of a REPUBLICAN).

You see boys and girls that came from the ABUSES from people like Carnegie...

See this is a textbook example of WHY monopolies are bad. Are any of you taking notes yet?

2. It might be time to break up AT&T - again.
ESPECIALLY if we find out they worked hand in hand with The Rupert...hey the LOVED spying on us when GWB asked them politely to break the law (and thus granted immunity) and snoop on Americans in the privacy of their homes.

3. And the media... seriously... right now
98% of what you consume is controlled by five companies. I want Harper Collins to be independent again... and devon books, I could go on. This is one reason why we have crap for media.

4. Monopolies go hand in hand with too big to fail...
If people really believe in the "invisialbe ehand of the market place" then they sould be opposed to monopolies and near monopolies. The gigantic corporte entities that dominate the market are not in the interest people or even in capitalism, which is as dead as Pan.

Break them all up, not just Newscopr or AT&T.
