So you want my money, do you?
Brad --

President Obama has had enough of Republicans’ childish games. Despite weeks of negotiations, Republicans are still holding our economy hostage with their ridiculous demands.

Eric Cantor and the Tea Party Republicans think they can play games with seniors’ Social Security checks and the full faith and credit of the United States in order to bring down President Obama.

Let’s make this irresponsible gamble the biggest mistake that Tea Party Republicans ever made.

Contribute $3 or more immediately to our Emergency Rapid Response Fund to defeat Tea Party Republicans.

Your dollars will be put to work right away to take the fight directly to Republicans in their home districts with targeted advertising, grassroots organizing, and rapid response research.

President Obama needs your support. Join the fight right now >>

Robby Mook
DCCC Executive Director

----------

Dear Robby,

If President Obama had wanted my money he wouldn't have pushed offshore drilling and he would have rushed to contain the damage when an offshore rig exploded due to lax regulations. (You know, those regulations that Republicans hate so much.) If the President wanted my help he would have let the Bush tax cuts expire rather than use our "entitlement programs" as a bargaining chip. He would have reigned in the banks and Wall Street rather than surround himself with the very people who got us into this mess in the first place. He would have used the "stimulus" to create jobs rather than to prop up "too big to fail" financial institutions. I could go on but why bother? He's not listening and doesn't care.

Very sincerely,
Brad R
One of the little people

7. Except the DCCC has little to do with electing Obama, IIRC
Aren't they the org collecting for Congresscritters? of which we need many, many Democrats of the non-Blue Dog variety.

Just sayin'.

9. Rec'd but it didn't show. There is a real effort to
bury the facts these days. As if it is possible.

15. They don't archive all my posts but if you were to go back to my first
DU posts you would see that I was an avid Obama supporter and donated my own money to his campaign. I drove all the way from Jersey City to the swing state of Ohio to canvas for him. I was overjoyed and amazed when he won. But like more than a few here I felt betrayed by him. I came to feel like I voted for a progressive and ended up with a cynical Republican who used me to get elected.

Don't assume you know me because you don't.

16. If you Work for a Living,
do NOT donate to the DCCC/DSCC.
They WILL use your money against your Economic Interests.

More recently,
the DSCC rescued Anti-LABOR/Anti-HealthCare Blanche Lincoln in the 2010 Democratic Primary by funding her failing campaign against Pro-LABOR/Pro-HealthCare popular Democrat Lt Gov. Bill Halter.

The DCCC/DSCC have NO business interfering with local Democratic Primaries,
and until they limit their funding support to General Elections Only,
they won't get another Working Class nickle of MY money.

Instead, send your donation directly to DEMOCRATS with a proven Track record of supporting the Working Class & The Poor.
