There is some misunderstanding about me! I am voting for President Obama because...........

I got a private mail that seemed to think I am not supporting "OUR President". Make no mistake about this. I will be voting for President Obama.

There are many reasons for this. First thing to come to my mind is the Supreme Court of the USA is in the balance. I will not let a conservative shift it any further to the right.

Anybody else have a #1 reason to vote for President Obama?

OS

7. I think he's doing the best he can in the face of opposition
bent on destroying him. I want to see that effort fail, and I am hoping for more Democrats in the house and a friendlier environment during his second term. I'm hoping for the best rather than inviting worse. Some may think it's naive, but I prefer naive hope to "wise" nihilism.

8. I have some problems with President Obama
on the speed of withdrawal from Afghanistan but I am still relieved he is the president. I also agree that the make-up of The Supreme Court is critical. For me, supporting and voting for the re-election of Barak Obama is a no-brainer.

9. #1 Reason: He is the democrat.
I have to admit that I have been critical-- especially about his education policies-- but I am impressed with his fortitude during the debt ceiling negotiations this past week. I could even get enthusiastic again!

11. What's crazy is letting even more rightwing justices be appointed.
Imagine what the SCOTUS would look like today if not for nader and his delusional minions.

14. Had Bush II not been elected by Nader adherents, we would possibly
have a moderate to progressive SC and womens rights and worker rights would not be under constant dismantling. Just a small sample of the reasons why I want to vomit when I read a post by a Nader adherent, or one by a Hamsher adherent.

13. The economy will be further destroyed if President Obama and
many more democratic Presidents do not lead the nation back to solid prosperity and back to the view that social justice is important. You know, you should not listen to firebaggers.
