It's horseshit. It's right wing instigated maddness. They riled up the crazies because the crazies were all that was left. Gun talk. "2nd Amendment Solutions." That's RW talk. I saw on Washington Journal this morning (C-SPAN), a comparison of the croshairs map to a comment on daily kos made by a poster. The comment was about Giffords voting against Pelosi for leadership: "Giffords is dead to me."
I don't see these two different citings to be the same thing at all. apples and oranges.
