Muska's Sponsor: Chad's 'N' WORD Was NOT Racist

Chad Muska's skateboard sponsor is totally cool with the fact he hurled the 'N' word during his arrest -- saying it's ok because Chad used an "a" and not an "er" ... at the end of the racial epithet.

A rep for Element Skateboards -- Muska's sponsor since 2006 -- tells TMZ, "There is a major difference between n**ga and n***** and it's totally obvious he is not being racial at all."

The rep goes on to say Chad has Element's full support.

As TMZ first reported, the legendary pro skateboarder was busted for felony vandalism on Hollywood Boulevard early Thursday morning -- and repeatedly spewed the slur during his arrest.

His graffiti, which states "Muska Kills" can be seen here. In an age where Banksy reigns supreme, a 34-year old skater is spray painting his name on buildings like a teenager.

That wasn't the worse part. While being detained by two African-American guards who have better things to do than baby sit a grown man, Muska dropped a few N-word bombs. To really get his point across he reportedly screamed, ""Fu** all these ni***s right here."

as my black students do draw a distinction between those words, but calling people he was clearly at odds with either word is going to get him in a bunch of trouble.

according to some black co-workers that I asked about it, hearing it from them.

a) probably best for a white boy to not use it, unless he is with black friends who are also using it
b) usually it is used in a positive way as in a guy might say to his buddies "we n**gas are looking sharp tonight" (or as I heard a co-worker talking to his son or spouse and say "n**ga please" to something they said, but also heard another co-worker say to his spouse "you got no business talkin to another n**ga" still even in that example, it basically means "brother") and that would be okay, but it would likely not be used with an enemy in a negative way, like "FU n**ga" like this guy did. Using it in a hostile way, is not at all proper, non-racist usage, AFAIK.

I am ASSuming so, given the implication of the OP. However, that word should be foul to any feeling human being, White AND Black. So if one group continues to use it, don't get your panties bunched up if another group follows...
