If Obama nominated Ralph Nader for Consumer Bureau Chief
or even Robert Kennedy Jr. then I would really believe in the change I can believe in.

I always wanted Nader to head up the Consumer Protection Agency back in the old days....I know an't gonna happen.

There was talk about Bobby jr having a place in 2008

Hey I can dream can't I?

2. Yes. This.
If we appoint Nader to anything, it should be Ambassador to Iraq. AFTER we remove the rest of our troops.

Don't worry you won't see anyone

who is a real consumer advocate nominated I'm willing to bet.
It will be a Consensus Candidate that has worked with the
industries and had some 'so called' positive dealing with consumers.
But will be a very watered down version of Elizabeth that will appease the republicans.

I would even take 'a' Eliot Spitzer but that an't gonna happen either. He did a lot exposing the malfeasance but his libido got into the way... Maybe he was hacked too?

Anyway, I will wait and see

10. Why not Nader?
You don't want a strong consumer advocate on the CPA?

7. I meant to say 'a' Nader type but Ralph has
Since 1966, Nader has been responsible for: at least eight major federal consumer protection laws such as

the motor vehicle safety laws,
Safe Drinking Water Act;

the launching of federal regulatory agencies such as

the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Environment Protection Agency (EPA),
and Consumer Product Safety Administration;

the recall of millions of defective motor vehicles; access to government through the Freedom of Information Act of 1974; and for many lives saved.

As a consumer advocate you got to give him credit
as a presidential contender not so much, but he's normally right
about the abuses of corporations.

11. Unfortunately, those most suited are seldom nominated
when corporations dominate political discourse.

12. Wall St and Cof C blocked Warren. Do you think for a moment
they would even entertain the idea of Nader.
