1. Rhetorical question?
I have a real strong feeling you know the answer to that question.

7. But a government isn't a family - its a government.
I hate it when he repeats idiot phrases like this.

You'd think so by the way people are cooing with glee.

9. On the other hand, a case can be made for canned, too.
Cesar is easier to gum down than Kibbles 'n' Bits if all your teeth have fallen out due to a lack of "regular professional care" (as the Crest toothpaste ads* used to say).

* "Crest has been shown to be an effective decay-preventive dentifrice that can be of significant value when used in a conscientiously-applied program of oral hygiene and regular professional care." THAT I remember. Ask me my phone number and I have to go look it up. Go figure.

10. Fancy Feast is $4.00 a pound.
I doubt people will be able to afford that anymore.

13. I did not know that. Well, perhaps for special occasions only -- dinner parties and the like.
For everyday dining, I guess I'll stick with the house brands. (Or maybe some enterprising company will develop and market "Fancy Feast Helper".)

I guess we'll have to settle for the store brand.

20. I'm so sick of this
I wish somebody would stand up for the American workers instead of "free trade." I'll tell you there ain't anything free about free trade. It's sick to see so many people willing to sell their brothers(and sisters)jobs, just to line their own pockets with the almighty dollar.

That quote is awesome:
"There are forces within the Democratic Party who want us to sound like kinder, gentler Republicans.
I want a party that will STAND UP for Working Americans."
---Paul Wellstone

I hope more people wake the hell up.

15. Don't worry! This time he went BIG for his opening bargaining position -so a medium plan will result
All you liberals who're always complaining about how Obama begins negotiations with Republicans by offering an initial bid resembling what should be the compromise deal, reached only after torturous haggling, instead of opening with a strong, unapologetically Democratic proposal should be happy now. He finally listened to you!

22. Good question
i wish we had somebody else TO root for. i can't ever root for republicans - nor can i root for Obama. this is what happens when mega corporations buy both parties and we end up with a right wing so called democrat (wink wink) for president. it's disgusting - and we have no good way out of it. :(
