LA's KFI 640 has cancelled all shows today to cover "Carmageddon"

And the traffic is much lighter than normal today with no particular problems anywhere.
The commentators were spending their time comparing Delis in the LA area.

BTW: KFI is the conservative, Limbaugh station in LA.

and it seems to have worked. All for the better, and it'll be open Monday morning anyway.

I drove late evenings, at that time, South to the UCLA venue and Morning from UCLA North to home
and had very little traffic either way.
