Northeastern Florida and Georgia Coasts - 20% chance

TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK
NWS NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER MIAMI FL
200 PM EDT SAT JUL 16 2011

FOR THE NORTH ATLANTIC...CARIBBEAN SEA AND THE GULF OF MEXICO...

A SURFACE TROUGH ASSOCIATED WITH A WEAKENING FRONTAL SYSTEM IS
PRODUCING WIDESPREAD CLOUDINESS AND SHOWERS FROM THE NORTHEASTERN
FLORIDA AND GEORGIA COASTS EASTWARD OVER THE ATLANTIC OCEAN FOR
SEVERAL HUNDRED MILES. UPPER-LEVEL WINDS ARE ONLY MARGINALLY
CONDUCIVE FOR DEVELOPMENT...BUT COULD BECOME A LITTLE MORE
FAVORABLE DURING THE NEXT DAY OR TWO. THIS SYSTEM HAS A LOW
CHANCE...20 PERCENT...OF BECOMING A TROPICAL CYCLONE DURING THE
NEXT 48 HOURS AS IT MOVES SLOWLY TOWARD THE SOUTHEAST OR SOUTH.

1. Thank you my friend...
we are all set for the season, except for water. Big Lots is having their F&F 20% off sale tomorrow so we'll stock up then.

Let's hope that whatever it is brings a ton of rain, we need it desperately. The county just lifted the burn ban yesterday due to last week's rain but our creek still looks like a beach, haha.

Stay safe and thanks for the heads up! I get these alerts going to my cell phone now via text.

And nothing else. We picked up some nice rain in Sarasota from T-Storms.

Things will start popping shortly.

been so lucky the last few years.

12. System now moving South -30-50% chance of strengthening
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ASSOCIATED WITH A BROAD AREA OF LOW
PRESSURE LOCATED ABOUT 100 MILES EAST OF CAPE CANAVERAL FLORIDA
CONTINUE TO SHOW SIGNS OF ORGANIZATION. UPPER-LEVEL WINDS ARE ONLY
MARGINALLY CONDUCIVE FOR DEVELOPMENT AT THIS TIME...BUT COULD
BECOME A LITTLE MORE FAVORABLE DURING THE NEXT DAY OR SO. THIS
SYSTEM HAS A MEDIUM CHANCE...30 PERCENT...OF BECOMING A TROPICAL
CYCLONE DURING THE NEXT 48 HOURS AS IT MOVES SLOWLY TOWARD THE
SOUTH. AN AIR FORCE RESERVE HURRICANE HUNTER AIRCRAFT IS SCHEDULED
TO INVESTIGATE THE AREA LATER TODAY...IF NECESSARY.

Florida folks keep an eye - looking more organized today

14. It smells really good...
the other day it rained, I swear the temps dropped at least 5 degrees within minutes of it starting. Sorry this system won't affect you. They lifted the burn ban yesterday in St. Johns county, it's been on for several months.
