4. It's Taco Bell
Where white kids work at illegal immigrant wages because the Mexican immigrants illegal or otherwise wouldn't be caught dead in the place.

Taco Bells are overwhelmingly staffed by Latinos, except in the smaller and/or less ethnically diverse areas. TB offers a good, entry-level job for students and immigrants.

23. The local Mexican owned and staffed by Mexicans restaurant has
almost 100% Anglos as customers, a few non-Anglos eat there...and the place is not expensive, whatsoever. In fact, it is a better value than Taco Bell.

The Taco Bell down the street is full of Hispanics, as both employees and customers.

6. Except now he's got that in his background
While yes, being made to work 22 straight days is wrong, so is this. It's shortsighted at best in my opinion. If he had given notice and left, that's something that I think would say far more about him as a person. But then again I try to never give in to immediate anger. To often it bites me in the ass.

9. it's ok to burn the Taco Bell bridge. That says more good things about him as a person
than had he worked two weeks notice. In Minimum Wage Land, people are often fired five seconds after giving their notice.

15. It sure is ok to burn that bridge.
I quit my local Kentucky Fried Chicken three times in my high school days. They'd get in a jam and call me to come back at a higher wage.

When they sold out, I quit for good.

10. I'd hire him for the moxy factor alone
Not everyone looks for corporate yes-men. Lots of careers out there encourage thinking outside of the box, if you will.

But http://stainedapron.com has some good stories under the I Quit! category. I used to read it pretty regularly when it was alive.

25. Taco Bell used to be my favorite fast food...
Of course, that's when they were smaller and looking for greater market share. Their food was passably good, and you could pig out for just a few bucks if you wanted. Then, they became enormous and now it's probably the most hideous tasting crap that you could imagine. So, I guess fuck Taco Bell for any number of good reasons.
