Senator Al Franken points out the absurdity of Republican ideology.
The Good Senator was on C-Span earlier today, discussing economics and the debt limit, etc.

He said that Republicans contradicted themselves sometimes. For example, he said that Repubs say that if you cut taxes, it will bring in more revenue to the Treasury. They have said this for years.

But, at the same time, they say that if we do not cut taxes, the government will have too much money, like they had when Clinton was President. If the government had too much money, it could negatively affect the natural way the market works. So they cut taxes...

Sometimes they simply don't make sense...

1. They used to make some sense, occasionally.
Now, they never do...and I've been watching conservatives here and there for a very long time.
