Fox And Friends Defends News Corp’s Hacking Scandal: ‘We Should Move On’
http://thinkprogress.org/media/2011/07/15/270344/fox-news-defends-news-corp/

"We have a serious hacking problem in this country.”

“For some reason, the public, the media, keep going over this, again, and again, and again” the guest said. “It’s too much,” he added, “We should move on.” Doocy agreed...

“We know it’s a hacking scandal, shouldn’t we get beyond it and deal with the issue of hacking? We have a serious hacking problem in this country.”

Of course the answer is obvious. Turn Rupert over to the CIA and let him be interrogated by the Jordanian Secret Police and whatever they find throw him in Gitmo for the next ten years. Hell Fox has been pushing this approach for suspected criminals for a long time now. Rupert is a fair man, surely he won't object to equal treatment.

6. By Fox "logic"
What's the big deal with Casey Anthony? Her daughter died years ago, and we just keep going over this, again and again and again! It's too much. We should move on.

Watch their little blow-dried heads cave in.

13. I like it. Lets see how it would have worked for the Anthony Weiner scandal.
We should have put Anthony Weiner's sexting scandal behind us and just focused on the "sexting problem" at large. After all, he sent those dick shots in the past, ergo it's not an issue in the present. And, hey, Weiner - who sent the pics - apologized, but, for some reason, the public - the media - kept going over it, again and again. I mean, "the piling on" was a "bit too much."

8. If Rupert, and the staff of "Fox and Friends" had any honor at all
they'd go to Tokyo, buy a katana, a wakazishi, and a tanto. A silk scarf, a calligraphy pen and paper, and compose their haiku.

18. They sure tried to spin that story
and deliberately confused those who were hacked with their employer who did the hacking.

11. For some reason? Wow, are we all fucking stupid idiots or have
that branded on our foreheads? What gall, what hubris. The MEDIA? Funny how Foxnews is ONLY a news station when they want to be...otherwise it is some nebulous evil MEDIA out there...and the PEOPLE?

Fuck YOU FUCKNEWS! Can't wait for the lawsuits.

They all deserve to be poor and downtrodden.

16. Move on? LOL
Yeah, that's real funny, coming from a network that routinely obsesses over their latest non-troversies for month after month.

This story aint going away, Murdoch. Get used to the headlines.

17. Seems to be part of a campaign
I've heard plenty of talking heads over the last few days saying, during interviews, that a lot of people are bored by this whole scandal now and we should be moving on. They never actually speak to people who are bored by the scandal though, just a lot of reports about boredom.

Lots of reporters in the UK are shitting themselves over this, even if they're not affiliated to Murdoch. Ironically, News Corp weren't the worst offenders when it came to hacking, but they're the biggest media group in the UK and it's really fucking funny to see them stumble.

20. "Fox & Friends"
Now that I'm being laid off, I can devote some quality time to proving my theory that the Missing Link is located on that program.
