Remember Boehner's weasel worded response to the question about birthers |
|
and reining them in as part of the R caucus last week? This sidestepping of the Teabagger vitriol by Republican legislators needs to be hammered on. I recall Rs being asked about denouncing this type of rhetoric repeatedly within the past few months during interviews only to give equally weasel worded responses to the effect that these are just your honest next door neighbor who is representative of "the American people" who is just a little het up about things. These people are extremists. Whipped up by politicians for political gain. These politicians need to be held accountable NOW.

posted in another thread; it is implicit approval and now the republicans must condemn the caustic rhetoric... John Boehner, this morning, called the shooting "inhuman"; I would suggest that the talk we have been subject to over the past few years, has been inhuman!

2. Yes. All Rep. officeholders should be asked when they..... |
|
.....denounced the heated rhetoric coming from the right; and if they didn't, ask why. (Of course, reason why, is that they used it to help their own election by saying nothing, but benefitting from the effects on people's perceptions.)
