Giffords had history with Palin, Tea Party
(CNN) – As of Saturday, Arizona Democratic Rep. Gabrielle Giffords' name appeared on a website titled "take back the 20" as part of a list originally issued by Sarah Palin of vulnerable House Democrats. A map on the site showed crosshairs over the contested Democratic districts.

Palin first posted the list in March 2010, naming 20 House members who voted for health care reform and represented districts that Republican Sen. John McCain of Arizona won in the 2008 presidential election.

The post read, "We'll aim for these races and many others. This is just the first salvo in a fight to elect people across the nation who will bring common sense to Washington," and was accompanied by a map with targets over the districts.

At the time, Giffords responded to the map by saying on MSNBC that her long-serving colleagues had "never seen anything like it."

"The thing is, the way that she has it depicted has the crosshairs of a gun sight over our district," Giffords said in March. "When people do that, they've got to realize there's consequences to that action." /snip

1. Shooting Giffords and so many others
"Dick" Armey is on sunday morning softball blaming the victim. Already. He intends to take over this country and totally lacks any shame, responsibility, or decency. Greed in the Ayn Rand mold motivates him totally, and he shits on all of us who dont belong to the exclusive 1-2% club. What a dick.

2. In the comment section I found it rather telling that the tea bag nit wits
are desperate to point out this was only about the actions of the shooter and the tea bag crap had nothing to do with what the shooter did. Never mind the fact these same assholes called for Ozzy's arrest after some mental case left a suicide note saying Ozzy's song made him take his life, that is different. That disconnect is what really disgusts me about the right, after 2 years of right wing claims that it was close to the time second amendment remedies came into play, when a insane person takes that remedy all of a sudden they were just kidding.

3. Perfect word -- disonnect..
In my mind there are two types of teabaggers, the ones who sincerely want less government, taxes, etc -- kind of Libertarian-leaning but more like the "old" Republicans, and those who jumped on the bandwagon due to fear, racism (same thing) and lack of critical thinking.
