It should be the Tea Party casting the spell, not 'debt'. The cartoon makes the Repubs look just as innocent as Obama. This is more like a Frankenstein's Monster/Sorcerer's Apprentice situation - and I don't know Harry Potter well enough to know if there's an angle on that.
