Meet the Press w/ John "$1,000,000 from Rupert" Kasich... |
|
.... "The scandal in England has not touched Fox News in the States. "I have seen the pictures of Rupert with his head in his hands crying with that poor family in England. These are good people but let me go back to the question on the economy ..." aka can I change the subject? ... rough quotes
As already noted in Safetykitten's posting Meet the Press is way over the fucking top today and David Gregory is a joke.
Kasich talking about how he balanced the federal budget as a Congressman, some guy from Honeywell talking some crap about understanding the global economy, David Gregory saying what can the Government do to regain the trust of the corporations, and on and on.
I only saw a total of about 10 minutes and it looks like the Meet the Press wants to take the place of Fox News if it falls.

3. Yea, that one is surreal. Then again, we now live in a feudal system. |

2. Why do people waste their time watching this drivel? |

Everyone who hosts these Sunday morning talk shows is a certified tool. The show exist to give you the illusion of being informed. The guests are no more than infomercial shillls. The shows with pannels of pundits are the best, no one who sits on any of the pannels should ever be taken seriously.
One good aspect is that whoever appears regularly on any of these shows deserves to be actively ignored by any thoughtful person.
