Exclusive: Channel 4 News reveals a new front in the Murdoch's legal woes as the Serious Fraud Office begins a preliminary investigation into News International.

But now, and potentially most concerning to Newscorp shareholders, the focus has moved to the company finances. Channel 4 News has learnt that the Serious Fraud Office (SFO) is making preliminary inquiries into News International.

Investigators are looking at many cases involving News International to establish whether a full formal investigation is required.

The former minister Tom Watson, wrote to the SFO's Director urging him to investigate alleged breaches of Company Law at News International, relating to payments made after the phone hacking scandal. He said the payments were a "gross misuse of shareholders' money".

2. I want him to stay intransigent till everything is destroyed.
I'm afraid he'll bow out too soon to protect the money. I don't want him to keep a dime.

5. how far his fall is related to how long in arrogance he is

and he has spent decades being arrogant - and all powerful. So far it looks like they all assumed they could keep all swept under the rug (they got away with it for a long time...) and for the past two weeks have run around with their heads up their behinds thinking that they could still control all events.

We are watching a train wreck - we came late to the theater - but the main climax was just starting to be approached - however I think it will be a slow playing drama to the final resolution.

Conrad Black has spent time in jail. Don't know that Rupert will - but James very well might - and alot of damage is going to happen to the empire during this part of the story arc.

Never would have predicted these strange (and morbidly entertaining to watch/follow given the vast damage inflicted upon so many societies because of these propaganda power hungry machines.

Enjoy the show - I know I am and will continue to do so. :hi:
