Al Sharpton taking Cenk Uygur's 6pm slot on MSNBC... FAIL
Don't get me wrong, Al Sharpton is a good guy, and I like him... but he also puts me to sleep. I am a long time TYT fan and was THRILLED when Cenk got his own show... MSNBC, don't kill Cenk Uygur's show, damnit!

2. There's room for both of them in the MSNBC schedule.
All they have to do is replace the Tweety rerun at 4 pm Pacific/ 7 pm Eastern.

7. And if that doesn't work out, kitty cat video clips replace Matthews. At least, the kitties
wouldn't be so anti-left.

12. I like Chris Matthews.
I don't find him ~overly~ anti-left, and he's not far right enough to be a Limbaugh. That makes him more centrist-right, and gives me a good perspective on what the 'other side' is thinking without having to subject myself to the horrible evil that is Talk Radio. If for no other reason, that makes his show worth watching in my opinion.

But (obviously!) I like Cenk more. I agree, two Hardball's is one too many. Move Rev. Al to one of the HB slots and KEEP CENK!

19. What the other side is thinking? We're bombarded with it non-stop.
What do we need righty Matthews for to tell us?

21. Tweety is entertaining to a point but here in Los Angeles
he on THREE times in a day. It seems one of those hours could go to Cenk or Al.

At least the times I looked at Tv Newser, he was always beating CNN....no one beats Faux News sadly.

Too much truth for MSNBC.... :puke:

20. That's why he had to go. Strong progressive men have to be weeded out! This sucks. But it's MSNBC.
They have a long, long history of doing this.

23. So long, Cenk. And at least he'll get more TYT studio time. I won't be watching Sharpton.
Edited on Tue Jul-19-11 01:37 AM by alp227
Sharpton might've supported a few causes I supported, but he's so full of himself at times that this move might as well be MSNBC sinking to Fox News' level - and Fox News actually committed all sorts of atrocities such as hiring George W. Bush's cousin to call the election for George and being associated with the phone hacking scandal. Jonathan Turley commented: "His selection destroys the credibility of MSNBC in its criticism of folks like O’Reilly and Beck. His selection in anticipation of the upcoming election appears both cynical and sensational by the network." I predict that Sharpton will bomb just like (coughcough) Michael Savage did.
