Les Hinton spent 50 years in service to ol' Rupe. He resigned. No charges against him yet, but we're waiting. Rebekka Brooks was given a handsome severance package when she resigned, presumably to deflect away from ..... not herself, but ol' Rupe. Brooks is said to be "cooperating" with those what jailed her.

Lots of others arrested and changed criminally. Jail is jail. They face that. No doubt there's some ankles quaking in boots. Just that none of them, except Les and Bekka, are high enough up to connect anything direct to ol' Rupe. The cops seem to be following the trail very methodically. Who might be next? Rupe's kid? Nope, I don't think so. I'm thinking they're looking for young, pretty, vital, poised, rich, never-needs-to-work-another-day-in-her-life Bekka to start singing. Not a fat lady, to be fair, but still able to fit the picture. And do the deed.

And if not her, they no doubt have some people just below her organizational level to haul in to the pokey.

One of these people will start caterwauling and selling out ol' Rupe.

And then there will be Rupe. Alone. Skewered.

And I will be rejoicing.
