Jewelry (including watches, vintage and fine jewelry)and purses in the newspapers. There are also a lot of storefronts open in the Chicago area that advertise paying cash for gold.

The economy is bad and someone is preying on unemployed and poor Americans that are barely making it from week to week. It appears like there is an organized effort to fleece every last item of value from us.

Where is the money coming from to purchase these items? IMHO this is a plundering and pillaging of Americans. Taking advantage of us when we're down.

There's no money out there to provide jobs to people. The banks aren't loaning money. People are losing their houses to foreclosure. Yet there is money in the system to buy peoples valuables, back political candidates for the upcoming elections in 2012 and fight non-needed wars.

I'm just sickened by the whole thing.
