Slate.com is a fine publication with outstanding writers. But Slate’s William Saletan has written a surprisingly shallow piece in which he challenges those progressives making the obvious point that Marcus Bachmann —like so many men who devote their lives to making their gay compatriots miserable—is likely a closeted homosexual himself.



Marcus Bachmann is a homosexual and his externalization of his own self-loathing and misery is sick and deplorable.



Let’s face it: that Michele Bachmann, a conservative culture warrior whose venomous vitriol is matched only by her ignorance, is married to a man who looks, sounds, and sashays like Marcus … well, that’s just hilarious ...

Marcus Bachmann like so many extreme right wingers, project on others that which they most hate or are fearful about themselves. Bachmann has spent a lot of time trying to "cure the GAY away".
