They were also talking about trying to find out which strategies work the best. Now maybe it is just me, but shouldn't we have figured that out about 8 years ago?

Get the Hell out of that fiasco! Enough already! How many chances are needed to get it right?

Get the Hell out!

That 10 billion PER MONTH would go a very long way toward paying for some vital programs that are about to cut.

Get the Hell out! Enough. No more excuses!

2. PRI?
PR0N?

The Democrats didn't want to be accused of pulling support from the military. The military has a huge and powerful lobby that would have put Obama through the PR grinder.

6. This has gone far beyond the point of being ridiculous. It had a
purpose when it started. Now they are not even sure of its purpose and are looking for one. I cannot stand for eternal war. That no way to live. The tough questions need to be asked. And answers given. We are involved in 3 wars now.

9. Yeah but we're not really spending it *in* Afghanistgan.
We're actually shoveling it by the bucket load to companies that benefit from weapons sales and endless war.

10. Yes. We aren't "spending it in Afghanistan" -- we're spending it
with U.S. corporations to buy things that will blow the shit out of Afghanistan.

13. k/r How could they forget? WE trained afghanistan how to bankrupt Russia.
Nothing is going to change until the Republicans crash the U.S. economy and bring great suffering on the population.

Then.. some may wake up. Too bad it has to go this way.
