1. Of course they are
They cannot stand the idea of a black Democrat as President. At least 90% of the teabagger opposition is racism, despite whatever bullshit said teabaggers spout.

4. The republican party is the "Terrorist Party," so I have no doubt they
will do whatever it takes to ruin Obama and they will take the country down if necessary.

13. Not just politicians
Republican executives are holding back on allowing a recovery. They intend to reward us for voting for their candidates, just as they currently punish us for voting against them.

If Obama loses next November, there will be an avalanche of hiring.

18. If they do the damage ...
they have done to this country can never be repaired in many ways no matter how many jobs they give. Many will never forget and when or if they do regain power it isn't going to be pretty for many of them, who only care about POWER...

They have damaged many lives in the process I guess they think they will go and enjoy all of their riches and everyone will forget.

They really believe that the people can't see what they are doing and will blame Obama sure people will blame Obama for not fighting hard enough but,we all know, even their base that they only care about the rich and caused many of the problems in this country.

14. Yes, some are. Others are just to stupid to know that they are doing harm

Why doesn't anyone ask for an example of when their policies worked? They won't be able to give any example of an economic downturn being helped by cutting spending and taxes on the wealthy.

15. I say no.
This isn't just about the presidency. They are going for a bigger target. This economic downturn which was precipitated by Republican economic policies is exactly what they were hoping for. It pretty much gives them a carte blanche to fire shots at whatever social programs they want.

Since the MSM is primarily in the hands of a few corporate powers, they also get to set the message.

The Republicans aren't just playing for the keys to the White House, they are want the whole shebang.

19. Some of them...
Some of them certainly seem to support the idea, and it would seem to fit in with the behavior they've shown us over many years. Since the idea has been stated publicly by their side, however, I'm paranoid enough to wonder what else they really hope to accomplish. Surely they wouldn't reveal the whole, big plan. What's the deeper agenda?

All I can tell is that they are brainlessly following this no-new-taxes-ever mantra, even though half of them know it's crazy. They all signed Grover's pledge and now they can't get out of it. They are like lemmings going over a cliff.

is the rich elite plutocracy are emplacing a feudalistic society shed of the old, the sick, and the weak of body and mind, served by those of able body and mind.

36. Yes, which shows they are worried about 2012 thus the need for a "game changer" like
a default. They may not be sure which party would be hurt more politically by a default, but they know that have to take a chance or their chances are not good.
