Report: Murdoch could be replaced
Source: Politico

A leadership change at News Corp., currently headed by CEO Rupert Murdoch, is being considered, Bloomberg and CNBC reported Monday.

On Monday some members of News Corp.’s board of directors weighed a move that would put COO Chase Carey in the chief executive slot, Bloomberg reported, citing sources with knowledge of the situation.

However, a senior News Corp. official pushed back on that report, telling POLITICO that there was no meeting held regarding Murdoch's successor. The official said the board of directors “has had a plan in place for some time and it regularly re-evaluates those plans,” adding that any suggestion such a plan was now being placed on an elevated timetable was inaccurate.

He has a very hands on relationship both in finances and in the reporting. James might. http://www.independent.co.uk/news/business/comment/david-prosser-why-james-murdoch-must-step-down-as-chairman-of-bskyb-2316037.html

4. True, but I'd like to see that "brain room" of theirs chopped to pieces with a legal axe.
And jail time for those running it.

5. Any internally nominated
replacement would be a cosmetic facade. Murdoch would still make policy and pull the puppet strings from behind the scenes. Most corporate boards are filled with enough hand-picked cronies of the CEO to maintain a majority vote.

8. And how much illegal activity is the board involved in...what do they know?
Fucking pompous shit stains...what makes you think there will be a corporation left after you evil fuckwits get your every atom sued back into the stone age? Why are we supposed to believe THEY weren't involved in all this? Fucking the gall of these assholes, I hope they all rot in jail. Throw away the key and let the rats eat them.
