Announcing: ...AAITS..American Association for Improvement of Tax Status
Edited on Tue Jul-19-11 07:58 AM by Stuart G
The American Association for Improvement of Tax Status.

The Idea of Taxes has a bad name.
Let's improve that name, and raise that status.

Last time I checked, taxes have done quite a bit of good.

Like: Police Departments, Fire Departments, Public Health. etc.
Paying a little more in taxes ain't the worst thing in the world.

During WWII, people were proud to help the government fight evil..
This really has changed.
The proper use of taxes have saved countless lives, and improved the quality of life, here and everywhere.

Just one example:
Last week my electric power went out due to a storm.
That power was run by a private company, Com Ed.

And the electricy was out for 3 days..

But, my taxes, paid to the Village of Skokie Illinois,
kept the water going through the power outage.
The toilets flushed, and I could wash my hands with clean water.
I could also get a safe drink of water from the faucets.
So, who paid for that water flow that kept going when the rest of
the power was out??
...taxes to the Village of Skokie Illinois.. the Water Department
