1. One has to wonder.
Of course, then, the NSA could have done it all by themselves. :P

2. You mean in regards to vote flipping? That's probable another division
of the republican cabal, if not directly linked to Murdoch empire.

11. Yup, I'll bet Walton's do it too. Can't wait for Anonymous to check them out.
Also don't forget about Koch's influence...

4. Let's see, we're dealing with absolute corruption with Murdock
There is not one single thing that isn't possible with him and his empire. Why else would he want to have complete control of communication outlets? Because he's a nice fella who loves humanity?

6. Look at the Scotland Yard situation
Obviously Murdoch & Co. successfully bribed and/or co-opted (or possibly even blackmailed) members of the British Metropolitan Police and possibly higher-ups in government. Who says it hasn't been happening here? Playing Devil's advocate for a moment, what would you do if you were an overworked, underpaid civil servant and someone threw a bunch of money at you for handing over some info or looking the other way?

7. Considering the quality of security not built into our elections, almost anyone could.

9. 80 percent of the votes are counted via computers
One company...ES&S... controls the computers that count 80 percent of America's votes.

ES&S is privately owned by republicans.

The programming code is a secret. It cannot be examined by anyone but ES&S. Judges have denied election examiners access to the code to try and understand why some election vote counts were totally messed up. Case in point: Sarasota County Florida, congressional election, 2006, where @17,000 votes were lost. Examiners took it to court asking to examine the code to figure out how those votes evaporated. Judge said: Fuck you.

The code remains a secret.

12. Looking at Ohio in 2004, where, as many recall, people in
predominently minority areas are now claimed to have voted for Bush, after standing in the rain, waiting to get into a voting booth. Where, in Ohio, exit polls were the REVERSE of the final voting machine results. Where Republican Election commissioner Ken Blackwell got himself into some sort of trouble over what he promised and delivered...

I would have to wonder ...for sure.

Murdoch seems more into blackmail.

15. there's another thread about a advertising floor mat company
who alleged that Murdoch's company hacked into their computer. Basically, forced them to sell-predatory capitalism at its finest. The Murdock empire encompasses more than just media-think about hacking into other businesses to take them down or take them over. It would be interesting to see what happens on this side of the pond.

We know that the "fair and balanced" network is beyond laughable. They've been pulling for the repugs for a long time. When a scandal hits with a repug and they put a "D" by the name, do it once it's a mistake, do it more than once it is intentional. But, it truly says what they think about their audience when they pull that shite-they think most are ill informed or just plain stupid.
