Wow! Just plain Wow! Keith Olbermann just said more about himself than anyone on Television
Keith is covering the Murdoch hearing and as it began they cleared the room of some people. That caused a short delay and the camera panned back to Keith. As soon as it did Keith quickly barked out to the folks behind the scene (just a quick blurb, nothing scripted and in fact you had to listen close to hear it, but here is what he said and it says everything you need to know about Keith. He said, "put the camera back on them, they don't need to see me". The them was the Hearing and the "they" is Keith's audience.

Immagine that, a TV commentator who thinks its more important that their audience see the news rather than the commentator himself.

7. We get Current but I did not see Keith's coverage on it.
We have Time Warner. Are some cable networks not covering Keith's show?

12. It was early...6:15 PST this morning. They should have...
...been covering it. If not, I'd go to the Current website and leave a comment there.

13. Costs extra for me
Comcast. Would need to pay for some optional package of a number of stations to get Current. I think it would cost $10 or $15 a month more than I already pay, so will live without it for now.

JUST LOOK AT ME!!!

I'm crying.
Did you see me?

I'm frowning.
Did you see me?

I'm laughing like a hyena.
Did you see me?

I'm barking like a dog.
Did you see me?

I'm looking at the ceiling like I am looking up to gawd.
Did you see me?

I'm looking angry.
Did you see me?

I'm looking insane.
Did you see me?

Yes, we did.

17. Wow is right...
especially considering the reputation he has gotten in the news industry as a complete egomaniac. Keith certainly has a sizeable ego alright, but from what I can tell he seems to "throw his weight around" mostly in an effort to make sure things are done right, done to his meticulous standards. I suspect he's a perfectionist at heart and is looking to get the details "just so" and this is probably the reason he has come into conflict with his "superiors".

Moreover, as is typical of the "liberal personality", he is going to question authority at every step of the way. I don't doubt at all, though, that the man is unbelievably compassionate and caring of his fellow human beings. His actions have proved that out time and again. I also think that he is finally in a position where he will not have to deal with "authority figures" so much and he will be able to have things mostly his way, and the example of his behavior you just pointed out there tells me where he really stands and who he really is... a very good man with a large ego, but an even larger heart and largesse.
