what's going on in language a teenager could understand, as though the reader doesn't know who the principles in the case are? If you don't feel like doing that, please don't write anything nasty ("Why don't you do your own research, idiot?") just to be a jerk. However, a nice primer on the case would be wonderful. Thank you.

2. Here is the scoop, in simple terms...:

London police were allegedly bribed to quiet an investigation into phone hacking by Murdoch.
Murdoch denied knowing about any of this, as did his top aids.

if true, Scotland Yard, known for its honesty, and always gets the bad guy reputation, and no corruption,
will be looked down in ways it has never been.
Two of the top cops there, have resigned.

Phone hacking was supposivly only a few bad apples, turned into being system wide disgusting practice..Hacking into the phones of a kidnaped child, later found dead, and families of those killed in a terrorist explosion in Britain a few years ago.

Murdochs top aids, have resigned because it seems clear, that they did know about the hacking. They publically testified to parliament that they did not know. That by the way is against the law. They have been arrested.
