Bottom line on the MURDOCHs: Too big to know anything!1 |

* These titans just didn't know. They are macros not micros.
* They threw the "chief legal officers" under the bus. Jims didn't even know who they were. Daddy had to tell him.
* Even the Aussie accent/dialect and bearing, though more coarse than the Brit, make criminality sound classy and not that humbling.

If you read Foxnews.com right now it's all about hacking and how they need to tighten security because of hackers, they have 5 stories about hackers, you see nothing to suggest that FOXNEWS' parent company is the one implicated. Disgusting.

Companies too big and impersonal for the responsible parties--owners (shareholders) and top managers--to know what goes on in the bowels of the company: phone hacking, bribing cops and probably politicians, sweatshops, etc. Wonderfully convenient way to make a lot of money without taking responsibility for the sleazy methods.
