5. I was streaming CNN, but was only listening while 'multi-tasking' - it sounded serious. |
|
And I assumed it was the question that was asked - the microphone had just been passed to one of the interviewers and she had just started a question.

Either for trying to attack Rupert, or for wearing a checked shirt!
I wonder what the Murdochs paid him.

1659: BBC political editor Nick Robinson says Rupert Murdoch was apparently hit in the face with a plate of shaving foam by a man shouting: "Greedy." 1657: A man with white substance - possibly paint - on his face has been taken away by police following the incident. 1656: Rupert Murdoch's wife Wendi stood up and appeared to strike somebody in defence of her husband. 1655: Rupert Murdoch appears to have been attacked by somebody in the public gallery. 1654: The sitting is suspended for 10 minutes - after some kind of disturbance.

4.57pm: The suspect looks like he has a substance like white paint on his face.
My colleague Jackie Ashley tells Twitter: "Wendi can throw quite a punch."
4.56pm: The BBC says the young man has been handcuffed. Sky showed the footage again – it seemed to be an attack from Rupert Murdoch's left.
4.55pm: A young man in a checked shirt has been detained by police.
4.54pm: Someone has just tried to attack Rupert Murdoch. His wife Wendi seemed to slap the person.

dude with the checkered shirt was or have been sitting behind the Murdoch family decided to attack Rupert Murdoch.
It is stupid and moronic if he did it on his own accord.

22. So the bit about the fiesty wife leaping to his defense was BS |
|
Edited on Tue Jul-19-11 01:16 PM by rocktivity
She literally had to reach over another woman to slap at the attacker as he was being pulled away -- an attacker they probably paid to create the media distraction.
