CERN and the Internet.
Okay: We have Angles and Demons on DVD. On one of the special features (My wife is a nut for those things.) had a Segment on CERN in Switzerland and at one point someone from CERN explained that they basically created the internet as it is today and they have recently released a statement stating the internet is for everyone.

So if that is the case and if that is true than Shouldn't CERN as the owner and creators be able to say NO no country can create laws of Net Neutrality - like the nuts in our country want to do so that these internet companies can decide which can charge what for what website.

1. They created the model from which the internet was born
If there is a differentiation to be made I guess.

CERN set up a 'communication' system so their folks had a way of staying in touch via the 'web'... hence the internet came about....

so....

Created the Model for?

Created the Internet itself?

Whatever.

3. So they have no right to say how that technology will be used or mis-used?
Maybe I miss-heard the segment but I did find it interesting.

4. 1. Net neutrality affects much more on the internet than just the WWW
2. CERN did not patent the technology.
