Yes, it's quite hot enough, and I don't care for it. However, I've been through worse.

8. You call this hot? Why, when I was a kit it was hotter than this in the middle of winter!
We didn't bother with frying eggs on the sidewalk - we'd stick a chicken out the window, and an hour later bring it back in, fully broiled!

12. Another reason for me to move to Northern Europe.
It's been 100+ for weeks. My yard is dead, my dogs don't want to go outside, and I cannot ride my bike in the disgusting heat.

18. Over two weeks of 100+ weather.
It's fucking hot and awful! My air conditioner is quite the trooper. I've never so thankful to be on the average billing for electricity before.

Actually this is the hottest summer since 1980 - I was born Sept. 1980.

20. Other: it's not the heat, it's the damn high temperature.
Or as it said in today's local paper: tough Texans wilting in heat.

Thank goodness that at least all of us non-tough Texans don't have to wilt. ;-)
