Republicans ALWAYS want 100% power and 0% responsibility |
|
Rupert's testimony reminded me of when they asked Bush, "do you take responsibility for the outcome and the expense of your decision to invade Iraq?" To which he answered that he took responsibility for taking out Saddam Hussein. That's it. All the costs, all the problems, point fingers to people behind you, and then kick that can to the next guy and point fingers and HIM.
Same with Murdoch. He's all about being "hands on" in his empire, but how is he supposed to know what is going on in NoTW, it's only 1%. So what's to say what mafias are going on in the other 99%.
Along with "too big to fail" they believe in "to big to be responsible."

1. You said it perfectly. They also want the rich to be allowed to live off the poor and middle class |

4. Yep - dodging responsibility is standard Republicon Operation Procedure |
|
just as they worship their chickenhawk 'leaders' who shirked military duty and they all shirk their public responsibility to pay their fair share of taxes.

5. It's the fault of "people they trusted" |
|
WTF, they are the ones who trusted them then. Isn't that why they get the big bucks because they make those kinds of decisions? And yet the buck always stops waaaay down the road from them...
