Stress-related condition ‘incapacitates’ Bachmann; heavy pill use alleged |
|
Edited on Tue Jul-19-11 04:57 PM by EV_Ares
Heard this on the radio news coming home. The article is from Tucker Carlson's rag. On the radio show they were asking listeners if this matters since she is evidently incapacitated & hospitalized on occasions as a result of the migraines. Link to article: http://bit.ly/pSxluy

"The Minnesota Republican frequently suffers from stress-induced medical episodes that she has characterized as severe headaches. These episodes, say witnesses, occur once a week on average and can “incapacitate” her for days at time. On at least three occasions, Bachmann has landed in the hospital as a result."
I have no doubt her migraines are bad, however, isn't it very nice that she can go right into a hospital for a migraine and not have to worry about where or how her medical bills will be paid. I know people that are losing their homes due to cancer or other serious illnesses, but, thank you God, Michelle can get the treatment she needs for her migraines.

2. Who was that Repub who recently voiced concern about women's periods making them unfit for office? |
|
Maybe he ought to weigh in on this WEEKLY incapacitating physical condition of a fellow Republican.
Then again, if Bachmann were not so busy trying to control everyone's life, she might not be so damn stressed.

I wonder about those migraines. I know a couple of women who suffer from migraines, and they are severe, beyond question, but no one I know goes for a hospital stay, that often, for just migraines. I mean, weekly, what is that, anyway.
on edit, misread the article, she doesn't go to the hospital weekly. She is laid up for days at at time weekly

4. Wonder what medication she gets for them? |
|
Having had migraines once a month for years, until menopause, I can sympathize BUT over the counter meds worked fine for me. Mostly. However, I have known quite a few women who rush to get a Demerol shot for their frequent migraines.

5. Rove wants her OUT, or controlled. |
|
Perhaps Rove and his synchophants (sp?) have realized what a loose cannon this idiot really is, or he's forcing her to accept a different role. I suspect the first her campaign heard about this was from "th' librul media," realized the source, and had to scramble to address, duck, and cover. No doubt it went to the repug "news" scum by email blast, as they're all talking about it today, using similar if not identical language, as usual.
